fnk adopts a family for christmas
so if you don't know what this is...

it's either the united way or salvation army that sponsors this program and what you do is "adopt a family" .... a family who is need at the holidays..

it costs approx $500 and the money goes towards buying the family:

-a christmas tree
-groceries
-toilitries
-christmas gifts
-decorations


would anyone be interested in donating some money so we could do this this year?!?!

it sounds like a great idea, but this year has been pretty tight for funds.

Maybe... I'll have to wait and see but most likely.

Of note my family received a gift basket and a few things like this when I was really young and you would not beleive how much it meant. It's really hard for little kids to understand why Christmas missed them.
