What Would Have Been The Grizzlies 10th Season

Hard to belive but it's true this would have been the 10th year of a franchise that was plaqued by countless front office mistakes just look at what could have been to think if we had taken The Suns up on there offer for Steve Nash in the draft that year in stead of taking Mike Bibby you can bet for sure the next guy on that depth chart was VC Vince Carter yoss in the guys they have now in Memphis and thats one scary team if you ask me but hey if if's and but's were candy and nuts we would all have a merry christmas

I voted yes but more so out of not caring versus not wanting the team here. I was given free tickets and went to a couple games but I wouldn't have paid to go.

On the other hand now that we the Canucks and the Giants I'm very happy!

ya know what killed this team? having a big goofy white guy, who had no game, as this team's figurehead. then signing him to a gigantic contract.

I don't think the demographics are what killed the Grizz if you look at where basketball is played the most in Canada is in BC and Ontario and look at the Raptors they are doing fine even after 2 losing seasons and to be honest I think they are gonna snap out of it what killed the Grizzlies was front office problems poor draft picks, bad trade decisions, and just over all stupidity you knew it was bad when our first draft pich in team history is a tall white guy from Oklahoma how screwed is that and just look at some of the players the Grizz past up the likes of KG, VC, and Kobe... etc. etc. etc. front office killed them plain and simple

KG, VC, Kobe and among others would have never played for us anyways. demographics was in the works here. we have like such a small black population comapared to toronto. poor front office problems and all that u mentioned are all true i was just too lazy to type so i just said "and then some". As what i said about demo and vancouver not having as much black people. this was said to me by a teacher i had and it does indeed make a lil sense to me atleast. iono either way i didn't enjoy watching the grizz anyways. i love ball but damn we were not fun to watch.

All I have to say is that basketball is not just a black person's sport just look at the Sonics or the Kings lots of white guys there and I didn't see a single black guy on the Argentina team that won Olympic gold or what about the defending World champion Serbian team you ask me thats a very narrow minded view of the game

Thats not even what i was saying. All i was saying when they tried drafting the black guys they would not want to go to a place that dont have much of them. Well thats what my teacher was saying. And i do know basketball isn't just a black person's sport. You misunderstood.

The Grizzlies sucked and was a team poorly managed that went down the shitter.
I was sad to see them go, and wish we still had an NBA time, but in all reality, it was better they moved to Memphis.
