I want to capture this picture from an anime im watching. How would i go abouts to capturing a frame out of the anime thus making it into a gif or whatever?

if that doesn't work, and you're running XP, Windows Movie Maker has the ability to capture frames

here's what you do,

if you're watching a DVD, download WinDVD (it's free for the most part)

When it's running the spot you like, hit F9 as fast as you can during the portion, all the screens are captured in the WinDVD folder.

Then download a GIF creator.
