I think they look good on a FEW girls..usually the kind of girls that are just...cute. I dont think they're worth the money or as "fashionable" as they're cracked up to be.

up at capilano fucking everyone has these god awful boots. they make me want to cry for them. this trend needs to stop soon.
all the ladies in my program are buying some rubber boots and we are gonna rock em like no other in the cafeteria in the winter. i acutually saw a girl with lululemon pants, the ugg boots and one of the fur timmed jackets that everyone and their dog has. i cried a little inside for her.

i personally dont think that they would suit me.
plus how functional are they? we live in vancouver for crying out loud suade + rain = no fun. id damage them in a second if i had them. oh and a side note i like blazers. and i dont give a crap if theyre 'in' or not (its just unfortunate that they are because i feel like a lemming :( ) i think they can complement an outfit nicely and dress it up too :)

i think its worst seeing girls wear the water/rubberboots.. WHY? they look like the most uncomfortable/awkward thing to wear. its absolutely hilarious watchin girls rock them and hold their chins up high and think they're the trendiest hottest shit in town. 90% of the fashion hoes are prob scared of rain/water...so unless ure going puddle jumping... um no sistah.
back to topic..ugg boots look like oven mits for the feet.

I've had a pair for about 2 years that my sister brought me back from Australia. She paid around $50 for them from the UGG outlet store that's west of Sydney. It's pretty funny cause this place is basically a shack on the side of the highway and sells boots for 1/5th the price that most people are paying in trendy stores.
I don't wear them out, but they're good as a sort of indoor/outdoor slipper. Oh yeah and by this post I am trying to say, "I got them way before everyone so I started the trend and I'm waaaaay fucking cooler than all of you." Last edited by jono; Nov 11, 04 at 05:31 AM.

serious fashion crime right there I still haven't decided what is worse - gumboots or ugg boots. Very close race for sure. As for the blazer discussion - love 'em. Blazers are NOT just a trend, they're a wardrobe staple!
