"God"
if we give creedence to the theory that "God" lives inside of each and every one of us,
can we really question the acts of our fellow wo-men? We are the hand of "God",and yet we whine and snivle and blame our own stupidity on this "divine entity" that is actually us. With each rebuttal we hypocrisize ourselves, constantly contradicting each statement made before. Yet everything we beleive and disbeleive in,we`re ever so ready to place all of our burdens on. "God" is just another cop out, another ready made excuse that we so frequently abuse. Once we learn to accept that fact, we can learn to accept ourselves. Maybe then we`ll be able to deal with the human condition. |

1. I find it hard to give credit to something written in such a put down manner.
2. I sense insecurity, inner conflict, and close minded'ness from the person who wrote this. 3. "God" is a spiritual metaphore, and a whole lot more. Because you don't believe doesn't mean you have to condescend to the rest that do. This isn't creative writing. |

I never said i didnt beleive in God,you just assumed so.Noweher in what I wrote did I say I did not beleive in God.I do beleive in God,but not in the way that you do.
So dont knock me for that. It wasnt written in a put down matter,it was written with honesty, and conviction. Brutal honesty I guess you could say. How is this piece not creative writing? Because im not utilizing arbitrary writing rules or vices? and dc,just because alot of what I write doesnt get replys does not by any means undermine my writing abilitys. Theres the good and the bad, quit being such a band wagon jumper. But then again I have to take into consideration from whom this critique came from, the same person whos critiques play like a broken record. c`mon now. I think having that faith just gives people hope. I don't see anything wrong with it. I totally see your point tho Val. Its disappointing to see how such idealistic points of view get warped, twisted, and are used as a means to control, rather than to give a spiritual guidance.

Exactly. Ya. One thing I really wish is to keep religon out of politics. I know that I might be stepping in some unsettling waters when I say this, but the two DO NOT GO TOGETHER. The US is a great example, using Catholism in order to justify certain political motions and etc. Its just disappointing to see. I've always said that as long as the individual has hope for society, it is that kind of person who will bring society together and WORK TOWARDS establishing the true human condition, as you stated quite well. Cheers.
