i've had it twice, most recently for 1.5 years. it ruined my last year in university and forced me into a complete life style change, ending a 7 year streak of gargantuan partying excess. you'll have to give up drink, drugs, smoke and parties. ending the all-night parties was easily the most difficult for me. as for the rest, a lesson in sobriety was probably in order. ha.
anyway, mono sucks. good luck. |

BTW most of you already have mono. it's a very common virus and many of us come into contact with it daily. Most people develop a natural immunity to it by frequently coming into contact with traces of mono. If you follow the link, you'll read that 90% of people are already immune. Most people that get full blown mono have become rundown (hello) and have thereby set the stage for the disease to grow and run rampant through their systems.
http://www.umm.edu/altmed/ConsCondit...cleosiscc.html there's loads of other googleable mono info online, becka. the best advice i can give is don't smoke, drink or drug and rest even when you feel you don't need it. monitor your glands. they're the key to how bad you are. |
