Custom Graffiti Mods : Clothing and Hats

My boyfriend is an artist who has turned his hand to graffiti. Recently hes started up a small business doing custom graffiti mods for friends on top of selling his artwork in various stores on vancouver island, like Lucid etc. Since most of his customers are ravers we thought it would be a good idea to introduce the stylin members of FNK to his creations.

Note : on the skirt with Keropie the white arround the leaves is actually florecent pink something just went funny with the picture

He used to use 6010 but not for a while, he dosn't really tag. Hes more a water colour/all mediums artist whos decided to explore graffiti

This is about art not music genres. Graff is totally associated with hip hop but were just a bunch of dirty arty ravers trying to make a buck at doing what we love.

YES. STUCK IN THE WASTELAND OF NANAIMO. Maybe we will catch you at a party some time duder. We come to Vancouver pretty regulairly just to shop and catch up on what civilization is because... yeah... it's Nanaimo : (

i rock my own steez
xylene pens are a mans best friend...BUTTTT i havnt experimented with coloth, xylene and washing machine....
id rather get a pimpin shirt silkscreened with my steez...but i liked the hats..

We found these awsome wood markers (zigwoodcolour) that are totally indestructable and very cheap, check them out if you're exploring the medium. Also if you do your own mods something that preserves them is ironing some wax paper over top. Also if anyone is looking for items of clothing with origional art on them check out Motherland in Vancouver. None of Matts stuff is there but they have some pretty awsome pices and weve been thinking of dragging a portfolio out that way.
Oh man, what we wouldnt give to get our hands on some silk screening equipment. I've sort of been looking into it but the only place that was free-ish was malaspina college and I'm not a student there anymore.

If anyone is looking into doing their own Matt would totally be into sharing some tips-n-tricks hes discovered doing his own projects. We are also interested in putting together a sort of Vancouver/Vancouver Island young artists group and aranging gallery showings in stores.

I give respect to every artist talented or not so talented, but when someone is trying to sell somthing they know nothing about I feel the need to speak my mind, If he dosnt like it well mabie it will inspire him to actually invest some time and learn somthing about the scene...

I would definatly be interested in viewing some more of his work. One very talented artist, no doubt he could channel such skill into various career paths (not all in spray however). ;)
