Spooky Refunds
Just wanted to update everyone on the status of the Spooky Refunds. We are sending back all refunds tomorrow morning that were received and met the requirements for a full refund.
Please note that you need to ensure you deposit your cheque as soon as you receieve it in the mail. These cheques will be staledated as of January 1, 2005. If you sent in a ticket for a refund but do not receive money back it is because the requirements were not met, including the following; 1) Your name was not included in the envelope. 2) You did not include your return address. If you have any questions please contact myself by PM. Thanks |

That on top of calls and emails I received and the rest of the team got, I'm sure got the word out. |

Lawrence there isn't much we can do if they didn't include their names or return addresses. And at that point - I am sure they will contact us and ask why they didn't get it. I wanted to get the reason out their though as to WHY some people didn't get a refund. Some went as far as to include their own self addressed envelope with a stamp on it.

I'm sure you guys helped out as many people with refunds as possible. I'm just trying to keep in mind the reality that some people could have bought tickets through personal sellers or even ticket outlets and they may not even post online. you know, strangers. the idea that you guys missed out on informing people (who deserve to get their money back) isn't THAT out of the question is it? Sorry to sound like an asshole (cuz i probably do) i'm just trying to play the devil's advocate ... oh nevermind.
I'll probably get the brunt of the flaming for posting on behalf of the people who may not know you (and we) exist. But, i'm just throwing the idea out there. You can't think you know all of the posibilities without even considering all of them. Anyways, what do people do if they just read the post today, or tomorrow. How do they get their money back? |

Lawrence I appreciate your playing devil's advocate - because you are asking the questions that we expected.
As far as not knowing - pretty damn near impossible to not know they were entitled to a refund - if they were at the event - they got a partial refund at the door. Kraig's post about HOW to get the refund was very detailed. If someone did not follow the directions by excluding their name, or their return mailing address it is out of our control. If you were to mail in a rebate for a product you bought from a retail store and the directions were not followed to the letter, you would not get your rebate. There is no way for us to verify it was them that sent that refund so as a result - lack of following the very clear directions is going to result in them not getting a refund. Also, they will try and contact us or make a blasphemous post on FNK once they didn't get their refund. |

^i'm sure if someone doesn't post or met someone for a ticket and wen tto spooky and found out it was a club night would of called bakc that person or gone back to a store about it and if not and they just find out now i'm sure if they talk to someone at twisted they will do thier best to compinsate them

Hi Carrie... Can you do me a favor and send me an email to [email protected] with the details? IE: first and last name, when you sent it in, how many tickets, etc.
I'll get Avana to look into this for you. Cheers. |
