info on the family we are sponsoring

So I talked to the mom of the family we are sponsoring for christmas, and without going into details i can let you know that she is desperate for help, and how i didn't cry when i was on the phone with her i still don't know.
She is absolutely wonderful...and J'nette and I are extremely excited to be helping her and her children out this year.


Her kids:


Her son Joshua who's 15 would like:

-grand theft auto for ps2
-cologne (to be a ladies man his mom said!)
- "wife beaters"-white
-socks and underwear


Her daughter Quiana who's 12 would like:

-makeup
-a jacket (a puffy one)
-an italian charm bracelet
-a purse
-socks and underwear

Yvonne, the mom would like:

-a jogging suit
-runners
-pjs
-socks and underwear


You can tell they just need some help this year, and on top of these items we will try our best to get them more things that we think would be appropriate for them, as well as a gift card for a grocery store.

So will you guys be taking donations in the clothing forms too then (ie. new package of wife beaters, socks, undies, purse, makeup) if someone were to want to do that? Or would you rather just take cash donations and do the shopping yourselves?

can we tell them they aren't allowed to wear wife beaters and puffy jackets? they'll be better people because of it.

the family has also asked for "bed in a bags" ...as they have no pillows or sheets, and very thin comforters

I'm soooo stoked for this.

From the way things are looking.. this is gonna be one happy family on christmas.

If anything.. if you dont wanna just donate cash.. but don't know what to buy.

Gift certifcates will do the job.
Let alone these are teens... and I'm sure they'll be down for goin shopping. and so they for sure get something they've been wanting for a long while.
