depends what kind of chocolate.....

-White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.

-Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.

-Sweet cocoa: 0.3 ounces per pound of body weight. One-third of a pound of sweet cocoa is toxic to a 20-pound dog; 1/6 pound for a 10-pound dog.

-Baking chocolate: 0.1 ounce per pound body weight. Two one-ounce squares of bakers' chocolate is toxic to a 20-pound dog; one ounce for a 10-pound dog.

you're all fucking wrong. CALL A VET IMMEDIATELY!!!!
it matters more what kind of DOG you have, than what kind of chocolate.

3 SQUARES OF HERSHEY MILK CHOCLATE CAN KILL A DALMATION!!!!!

and one the flip side, some breeds can eat as much as they like without even getting sick.

trust me, i used to work at a pet food store.

My dogs (one great dane and one jack russle) both somehow got into one of my Top cubbords (big dumn dog listens to the small smart one i guess lol) and ate like... enough of my Mushroom truffles to get ME high for a month... daily... and they were fine...
aswell as Every easter they steal chocolate from my sister and my cousins before they find it all... so unless the dog ate like.... 40 chocolate bars itll be fine aswell as my aunt feeds her dogs chocolate and they are fine so yea I dunno it really depends.... More than likly itll just puke and then not run around a lot for a day or so... Itll be sick but itll live
