I'm glad you asked, breakfast is the best thing ever and I make it out for brunch every weekend
Here are my favorites: Paul's Place (6th @ granville.) Cafe Barney (13th-15th @ Granville) Sophie's (4th @ Arbutus) Slickity Jim's (Main @ Broadway) Cafe Deux Soleils (Commercial Dr.) Bon's off Broadway (@Nanaimo. World famous horrible 2.95 breakfast! watch out for lineups on weekends) The Elbow Room (davie @ seymour, the food is good, the service is famously horrible) I also think that Havana (cuban restaurant on commercial dr) has really good brunch, I've also heard amazing things about the brunch @ the reef. I went for brunch yesterday at milestone's in yaletown and I was pretty plesantly suprized, as I usually think their stuff is pretty bland. My #1 reccomendation is Paul's Place though, I promise you won't be let down. |

Both have been said already but i must say my peace:
East side: Bon's off Broadway - the security guard server guy is my favorite!! West side: The Kingshead - on Yew at 1st in beautiful kitsilano, wonderful in the summer after a night of drinking. |
