hahahaha rock on for the Lingenfelter VETTE

Im the proud owner of some DETROIT Muscle (1973 Corvette) and I wouldnt trade it for the bloody world. Jap Scrap has its place in the world...namely as cute, cheap economy cars.

and I like to call NATURALLY aspirated 630hp 434 stroker rat motors FUCKING BADASS.

You can NEVER match the sound, the kick-you-in-the-balls torque or the that incredbily RAW feeling of a monster (carburated nonetheless) Chevy V8.

600HP and 200lb-ft of Torque is hardly muscle either... :p

There's no replacement for displacement... A Dodge with a blown 445 would rock that twin Turbo Japper Car.

YAAAAAA! I have a 73 Stingray with a 454 done out... motor was pulling in about 625 horsepower, my cam is shot right now but I'm putting a new cam/lifters/roller rockers in within the next month or so.

^ That's not the point now is it? If you want real Power you don't want to turn, if you want agility you adapt and go for smaller and higher revving engines and have pimp suspension. ADAPTATION PEOPLE! I just prefer the feeling of my eyes being pulled to the back of my head and that rise of the nose as you launch down the tarmac. Rally driving (Which I love to no end and have done a bit of myself) has a totally different kind of thrill.

It's not the point in this thread but im just saying. Alot of people bash the shit out of jap cars. i am a fan of all cars so i don't exactly take sides. But when it comes to an overall car being fast on a straight away doesnt mean much to me. handling and all the rest comes into play. but i like them different thrills like you were saying. most of my friends have ricers or euro cars but a couple do have muscle cars and man is it fun when they decide to kick it down a street.

^ Gawd yes... I just love power. The whole Muscle Car attitude is great too... if you look on that link I posted a lot of people have built everything themselves. It's all about innovation and doing the work yourself. Learning and improving, doing the most with the least cash. Some of those fuckers do 8 second quarter miles in Cars they used to drive to work. lol

yea i love all cars in some sort of way. american cars with the raw power and that sound is scary. on the other hand the sound of a ricer is something different, it can sound powerfull but in a more technical way should we say, since they use more technology etc. euro cars just have a dope drive to them, the engines sounding like a jet or what not. damn cars are dope
