When you truly feel appreciated...
I got to work this morning... like any other morning. Everything was quiet, Christmas music playing in the background, family visiting the patients, kids "ooh-ing" over the gingerbread houses, and playing with the Christmas balloons.
After lunch, a gang of my staff cornered me in my office to shower me with gifts. I got this enormous, squishy Christmas bear that is super soft, gift certificate, four gifts that I'm not supposed to open til Christmas morning, and lastly, this gorgeous sterling silver bracelet with stones all around it. I think I cried as much as it's rained this winter season.
All day I felt truly appreciated... like I was really working towards something good. Thanks to all of them to re-assuring that feeling.
I just wanted to share a happy moment of my day with everyone.
