how was your new years? what'd you do?
well i can say mine was better than last year but it was just "ok i guess".
my friends were all doing something else- either that i couldn't get a hold of them. the plans were: me and my best girl were having a going to a house party, having a few drinks, smokin some weed and i was to drive the two of us to her boyfriends work to ring in the new year then i was leaving her there- going to the bar and meeting up with them when he was done. somewhere in there i was to meet up with my ex... but instead it went like this: my ex decided to stay in chatam, i only had one drink at the house party, saw my ex' brother whom i didn't know was dj'ing there and chilled with his girlfriend, smoked a nice hash/weed joint, drove to my friends boyfriend's work and rung in 2002- except he was done work and this is where all the plans change... although he said "well whatever you guys wanna do" the truth was he expected us to do what HE wanted to do- or at least his girlfriend. so while we drove around for a HALF HOUR trying to decide what we wanted to do, they ended up getting dropped off at a 7-11 to "talk and figure things out" and my friend purposely left her bag in my car so she had an excuse to meet up with me later. FINE. i went to the bar, it was dead. i went back to the house party- the people i knew had left. so i called my best guy's place and asked where he was. turns out- he hda to work but got my message and was on his way to meet me at the bar. so i went to the bar where at least the night started to be a little better. i saw the guy who likes me, we kissed, i did meet up with my best boy, and saw one of my oldest friends fora bout 5 minutes. although me and my best boy were sober- at least we had each other (how cheesy) so i sat through of about 20 minutes of this guy telling me how much he likes me, and that i have the entire "package" - "dead sexy and killer personality" and how he wants me to just spend time with him, get to know each other, and see where things go... well i wasn't ready for that- because all night i just wished my Matt was there. but hey- always keep your options open right? so i did was i did last year. my sober ass drove stranded drunk people home. the best part was though- that i ended up picking up the SAME GUY i picked up last year! the one who filled up my gas tank, bought me smokes, and a bottle of water last year. it's like we didn't know at first, but when we all got talking about last year and how i drove ppl home, and this guy's ya - WAIT A MINUTE i know this van! YOU PICKED ME UP LAST YEAR! i bought you smoked and filled your gas tank! member? and we had this huge like rememberance thing... it was nice- i made $20 off one trip this year. and i only did one. i went back to the house party, brought my best boy and he ended up dropped half an E and staying, smoked another hash/weed joint and chilled with my ex' brother and his girlfriend... met a really wikked guy, drove them all home and went to bed. yay. so i still haven't been drunk on NYE since i was 15!!! that is like sOOoo wrong... but at least i accomplished on thing. i smoked my weed and got a lil hash out of the deal too. how was yours? narissa :)

I think that New Year's Eve. is EXTREMELY over-rated. People get all hyped up for nothing really. My friend's boyfriend said "Everything after 2000 is anti climatic", and i agree.
I had a pretty good night, though. I went out to dinner with a really cool person named frogprincess. We ate and chatted and I gave her her late Christmas present of a huge stuffed frog, so we were walking up and down Granville with it, and people were molesting it. We saw d.b.o walking and gave him a dirty look. Then I went to the Cheeky New Year's party at the library, which was pretty cool. Farshad and Ryan played some smokin' tunes...thanks guys! I got fairly drunk, and flirted with the hot bar tender all night. A lot of my friends were there, so I basically chatted, danced and drank all night which is the perfect equation for fun. Then I was too tired to go to an after party, I'm still sick....so I went home and slept until about ummm....30 minutes ago. Did anyone actually read all that? I will post a test later. goin to a party which had hella bitches at. actual plan: went to the party, met so many people i havent seen in so long, met hella hotties. my buddies got kicked out so i had to leave. which was totally bullshit. lit off an airbomb inside the house as we left. taha, evil me. went to a party at a barn, which licked ballz, how do i know... it was so hurting, when we got out of our car, everyone was leaving. then we went to my old high school's party which was at a house, not at the actual school. we missed the countdown by like 10 min. but no one cared and counted down 10 min later. then, as we all said happy new years, everyone seemed to leave thinkin the party was over. talk about hurting grade 12's who have to get home and get thier beauty sleep! i mean fuck, its new years, party it the fuck up!!! u also have no school for a week so what are u worrying about. damn geeks! then my ride jewed out on me for 3 hours. took off without tellin us. fuck. so as we are all rowdy drunk, we stole 'molson canadian' lights, bulletin boards, and a remington shaver. oh yah... and sum dope cds. personally i kinda liked this year cuz it was with people that i knew and not 3500 fucked up people at a rave. and i heard that the raves this year didnt even come close to 3500 combined! bunk ass shit! so ya happy new years and all that. hopefully 2002 f&k threads are also worth posting rather than people just posting nonsense and stupid dumbshit questions. ya, u know who u r. cheers :sixpak:

I worked at the plaza (nickelback concert) which was cool.
But everyting else about the night sucked. My x bf is a total loser and totally let me down. (what a surprise) My phone fell in water and doesnt work now, i have to use a headset to use it. I had a bladder infection. My car got towed. Can anyone top that? Probably not... :( I guess....forget the past cuz its a waste of time..and move on with the new year.

I went to this weird circuit party at the Vogue Theatre with some friends. The drinks were waaaaaayy overpriced, so I didn't drink much (oh well, I substituted other things for that *smirk*), and they played the music way too loud at times. Though aside from that and perverted guyz trying to pick me up (come a little closer to my raver kick, buddy!), it was fun.
However, never again! *shudders* *demented hugz* ~ Trinity ~

woke up, drank, max came over, mom got me a bus pass, was dragged to this party in brookswood where i didnt know anyone, damn social life! :) drank, walked to the bus stop after, went on skytrain, saw ppl i used to know, (cough) that used to HATE me (cough) and then went to east van, drank the rest of my alcohol, and the clock hit 12 when we were walking around east van hearing idiots cheering and being stupid new years ppl.
yeah. another day.

OMG...!! Sorry to hear what happen to you Jess!! That's gotta be a night you wanna forget...*sigh* But aside from that and stuff how was Knickelback? My co-worker went to it...Haven't asked him about it yet though...
Anyways...I went to Excert's NYEBash...I thought it was alright...It was good spending NewYrs with close friends and party friends...What more can you ask? Best of luck to everyone in 2002!! :Kimmie:

my new years was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
it started on the 29th with an illegal rave in vancouver called Agronomy. i kept on partying straight on through the weekend until new years eve, when i went to a wicked party over in victoria called Voich Nyder. it was a small 200 person party, only for hardcore techno, acid and live p.a. fans. lots and lots of photos on my site: http://members.fotki.com/silverfish

NIckelback was GREAT!. Flybanger started off..they were pretty hard...then Default..(wicked) So that part of the night was kick ass. Saw a whole bunch of ppl that i havent seen in awhile..thats always nice. THen you know the rest. Oh well..watever.. hehehe how are you? KiMMie: thanks for your advice. Yah when i got home i immidiatly took my phone apart and put it on the heater for a bit. My sim card was all wet n shit..but nothing happened with it , its fine. I do however think that the speakers in my phone have shorted out...cuz they worked for a bit after it fell in the water..then it started to cut in and out...and now my phone says "headset" on it. SO whats what im doing for now. And for my problem..yes i drank cranberry juice last night. its good for the system. Im gonna kill VINCE if I ever decide to see him again :225: Cheers :355:
