Last night at Tribeca I drunkenly babbled something in German, this hot chick turns to me and goes "Wo kommst du aus?!" Like holy shit! No one ever speaks German and I ran into three there that knew the good word. It was a great feeling chatting with this chick and being able to hold a convo. I haven't had a chance to use my German in so long. Too many people speak French and Spanish. Boo... Anyways, yah, it was startling and fun. I got her number too. Second languages rock! :D

Dont worry dude, German is one of the hardest languages to learn....
Im just a lucky bastard, cause I grew up with 2 languages.... Italian and German, and Im graduating from a german school this year

Lucky indeed, I took German for 4 years in High School and College. I'm conversational, just have rusty Grammar. lol Germans are always surprised at how functional I am and with my pronunciation.

Yea the grammar is hard..... I know, cause I still make some mistakes in my tests...But that´s cool u can have conversations....
Hier ist es 10 Uhr 47 pm, ich war heute snowboarden und habe mich sehr betrunken.... ( got fucking drunk... ) Ich glaube ich geh jetzt schlafen ( passin out... )

I went to germany, and all I really learned was Hein spraken kein deustch! And Spraken ze english?

oh and I have no clue how to spell it but it seemed to be the closing thing to spanking the people helping us could come up with... tsutigen...?
