what's ur sweet spot/chill area/sercet place ?

Yesterday was an odd day ... and it was raining (my favourite weather) so i decided to go to one of my chill spots which is roof parking lot of lougheed mall .... it was so nice .... i love it up there because after mall hours no one is ever there ... and i just kinda run around in the rain and do my daily thinking ... i usaully go up there when i want to get away ....

My other spot is down in my old neighborhood in vancouver .... it's the sea walk at Fraser river .... it's so pretty down there ... i usually go there when i'm feeling weird and creative ....

And when i'm feeling blah ... i stay in my room and draw and draw .....

So what's yours?

*Special spots* that i haven't been to in awhile are places like the lynn valley head waters on sunny days in the late spring and summer, late nights jericho beach, rec beach in the summer, the museum of anthropology, the railroads in kits(near the beautiful community gardens), community gardens(esp.the one on 1st ave).

Can't think of any other places, but i like nature, and places that remind me of my culture's past. and usually to have some good coffee, slurpee, or icecream with me.

Well...when I need to get some thinking done I usually go to the airport and park at the end of the tarmaq and watch the planes take off...it's nice.

In the summer I like to sit out in my backyard and draw or write on sunny days.

My most FAVOURITE chill spot is on the beach in sechelt. My grandma used to have a house right on the water and we had a private beach with this rocky cliff. I found a little nook in the cliff that I could sit in and read as the sun shone on me. The only noises around were the sound of the sea and the occasional birds chirping. It was so beautiful and surreal...I read some of my favourites in that spot, and I wrote some of my best pieces there. *sigh* Too bad my Grandma sold her house =\

hmm..one of my fav spots is in the lil foresty area by my house..its nice in there and usually quiet..or if its late at nite..i just go for a walk..cuz no one's really out at nite and the darkness is calming..walking in the rain is nice too..or i jump into the car and drive..i usually don't end up anywhere..but sumtimes..i end up in a cool spot and get out to walk around..then try to find my way home..=P~..but lately..i just light a nicely scented candle and lie in my bed..or i just jump into the shower..~..

sweet spot

Winter at around 9pm on top of the Peak at grouse mountain, or on the cut half way through. you can sit down smoke a joint and look at the lights. it's very very trippy.

I don't go there anymore but it used to be at my high school before school started this year.

There is a hill by the school and I used to go there at about 2am and lie down, stare at the stars, counting the shooting stars and think about things... It put lots of things into persepective but now I don't bother going there cause all these "hardcore" grade 12 people hang out there and harass whomever go by there.

god I need to either stop saying "there" or get some rest...

I have a one "chill" spot.

The Tube: A large tube that runs under Nordel Way. It also connects to "The Canyon" which then connects to "The Traxx".
Activity: Smoking Pot, Drinking, General Chilling.
Pro's: It's cool. No one goes down there.
Con's: It's hard to get to if your female*.

* Every chick thats gone down there has a hard time getting down or back up.
