Million $$$ or risk it all with a coin toss?
I just finished watching Rebel Billionare on FOX Rochester, channel 131 and Shawn won the competition. Before he won the million dollars, Richard gave him a choice; he could chose the million dollars and walk away or he could risk it all with a coin toss. Shawn had a decision to make, he could either take the million dollars and walk away or he could risk it all with a 50/50 chance coin toss.

^ and that's why everyone thinks your a douche bag.
he did the damn right thing, from a business perspective, fucking rights. He took the million dollars, not for himself, but for all his employees and co-workers, sometimes it's not always about yourself. |

*shrug*. So which would you prefer - being famous for being an idiot in front of millions of viewers, or a really nice fully-paid-for house, car, and not having to work for a couple of years?
You'd be famous all right. So was John Bobbit. |

Well if Shawn took the 50/50 chance and flipped the coin and it landed on heads (if he called heads) then he would of got a chance to work with Richard or something like that, flipping the coin was worth alot more than a million dollars.
Anyways he chose the million dollars cause he wanted his company "Love Shack" to expand and he said he would use the money for that. Richard was happy with his choice and he still let him work with him and gave him a chance to chose his right hand man (someone who was also on the show) and he chose Gabriel. Shawn also gets some shares in "Virgin Galactic", a company that will take people into space for $200,000 a pop. If I had to chose I would also chose the million dollars; donate like $50,000 to the Tsunami Relief, pay of all my debts/my families debts, buy a sweet car and a house. With the rest of the money I would take a nice long trip somewhere exotic and tropical. Then when I would come up I would invest the rest of the money into my business "Victory Stones". |
