damn. I'm at work just watching some of the videos that Graham and Jason made. Boy did we have some fun back then. After going through a clip or two, i just fully FULLY FULLY FULLY miss raving. Like, when people used to practice dancing in advance just to bust the right moves at raves. At that point, there weren't that many candy ravers anymore, but people still wore the bracelets, soothers and visors. DAMN.
Anyone got any fond memories from pre-2002? |

a week after each party i saw graham at i would check tro see if the new video was up. check everytime i sat at the computer to do something. at Twisted Tails he brought a tape recorder and he recorded me and a couple of friends talking about the party and he had that up for a while. kinda funny to hear us like "oh my were having so much fun, what a party. whoo hoo." totally miss the pre-2002 vibe. oh well, things change.

Wett was definately one to remember for me. It was the first time i chilled with the Twisted family (after hearing so much about them) in like.. 2000? The video was just NUTS on DJVibe. If you haven't seen it (in a while), check it out again.
I remember going to a Spooky as a french maid (the costume cost like $150). i thought cross dressing would be cool for a night. I LOVEd how the more raves i went to, and the more frequently, the more people i'd unvolunarily meet and get to know. it was just fucking wicked. Everyone night was a different story with TOTALLY different people. I used to go wearing all white for a few parties someone from LoungeX convinced me to wear this stupid straw cowboy hat. i was such an ass in 2001. Checking out all the different parties, critiquing them and trying to figure out which dj's i liked the most. Back then i thought trance SUCKED. DnB rocked my world and i didn't know where else to find it. Capital J.. holy shit. i saw him for the first time in the 2nd room at riverside. Nearly slipped and died dancing on that wet floor 100 times over. The best nights were when the second room was just sooo packed that you couldn't get in or out of the room. if you were in, you were there to stay. Sweet shit. ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?? |

Candace hosted our video for MM5 and I felt bad cuz she being assalted by moskitos and trying to keep a straight face for the shot.. she pulled it off though. I would like to eventually get all the Videos onto 1 DVD.. and just give it away to everyone so they can look back on it one day and laugh. ;) Plus I would really like everyone to see how good they look full screen on a TV.. I nearly cry sometimes at the quality difference once we compress it for the site.. If anyones interested give me a shout on my forum ----> http://www.djvibe.com/forum/ PZ Graham |
