need cd burning help!! :p
k.. im burning cds... but windows media breaks it up into seperate tracks.. so theres like a break in between each song.... anyway to fix this?.. or should i be using a diff program like nero?

k.. the cd i ripped is a set..... and i want it to be the same when i burn it.. but last time i bruned it... it burned with gaps in between the tracks.. i still want track markers.. so i can fast forward.. but i want it to be all one mix.....

uhhh.. so you want a cd that's 1 song, but be able to switch between tracks without listening to the whole thing? Can't be done with normal cd players. You'll have to live with the torture of buying a crappy cd player that doesn't read your cd fast enough :( Or... your cd player has a function that sets the inbetween time between tracks. Try that out.

ya i found it on realplayer.. but i couldnt find it on nero.. i tryed the copy cd to cd.. but then it fucked up.. then i tried it on realplayer.. and it fucked up.... i think my computer is fucked .. or i have too many programs running.

It's a set right meaning it's one large MP3 file?
Or is it already split into seperate tracks? IF it's one large mp3 file. You need to make a cue file than burn using nero. IF it's split already you must change the settings when you drag and drop. The part where it says 2 seconds you must change that to 0. This should solve the problems you've been having =) |

i dunno if this is still the case but when i started burning cds like 5 years ago, no matter what i'd get a lil click inbetween tracks if they were already pre-cut into separate mp3s. the only way to get a seamless transition is to use nero and set cue points on the full set... if theyre pre-cut you'll never get the seamless transition....
unless this problem has been fixed over time? |
