cigarette money

the money that i've been saving because i quit smoking (and i never realized HOW much money i spent on cigarettes each month, until i quit) has been going towards alcohol.

did i just trade one vice for participating more heavily in another?

I don't think thats necessarily true, considering when you are intoxicated you are putting major strain on your liver which causes it to deteriorate rapidly, especially if it is on a constant basis, your lungs however - you dont put that much smoke in it on any given day.

BOTH are no good.

Not during the day I should hope. Unless sidekick has used his previous alcohol money and his ex-cigarette money together to be drunk everyday all day then yes, I suppose you would smell like a drunk.

but if you take the alcohol away, the liver can start to regenerate, as opposed to your lungs which are pretty much fucked.

Pot is different. There is a point to pot, a reason to smoke it, unlike cigarettes.

then there's the few of us who enjoy the act of smoking, and the smoke itself, and do not smoke for the reasons above....so dont be so quick to pass generalized judgement...im sure there are many different reasons for people to smoke wutever it is they smoke.

^hey man, i know where you're coming from. i used to really like smoking, but then for some reason, i just stopped liking it. so it was easier to quit because i just didn't want to smoke anymore.

Never really like cigarettes because my mom used to smoke them around me all the time when I was growing up, and I used to have really bad allergies, and with the smoke on top of that it more or less pissed me off. I guess in the end that was a good thing, because I didnt start smoking, but dont get me wrong, I dont mind smokers heh.
