The smallest computer:

Check it out. And it´s pretty cheap.
Apple is just dope.
Since I bought my Powerbook, I will never change back to Windows again

About the same size as 5 CD boxes!

Apparently they can be tricky to take apart, there are no screws, you need a couple of thin paint scrapers or similar to pry it open. The RAM is user upgradable, that's about it. There is a review at http://anandtech.com/mac/showdoc.aspx?i=2328 that says the entry-level model's 256 Mb RAM is not enough.

But I know of 2 people who have ordered them already, and a possible third.

Becuase it was not in a fucking shinny box. Oh wait,,, it's still being sold, so it did not fail.

I was more or less pointing out that this concept is nothing new, it is just Apples hack of it. I would not mind one myself, but the jerks left of the TV out on it. So it would be mostly useless to me.

What do you mean Dave ??
Apple doesn t get fucked up as much as a PC. A high percentage of the viruses are made to fuck up the windows system. At least that s what I heard.

Well, but I could list you 10 people I know whose Windows crashed.
Oh well, both have their pros and cons.
Gotta go to school now, it is 7 30 am here.
Have a good nite

I'm not joking just as I read you post my friends Mac crashed.

Macs really don't work better then a well installed Windows system. But the yes Macs do set up nicer, just don't have any data on the install drive though, the recover disks are not all that smart.

But still a Linux system can run for months with out crashing,,, I'm like to see ether Win2k, WinXp, or OSX run that long.

after working with macs on a daily basis at school i highly perfere them over pcs. planning on saving up for a powerbook myself. just a lot more user friendly and awesome for design work. my pc at home i whine about it everyday.. the mac's at school.. they run soooooo smoothly, never a glitch and just works properly.

Yea I think macs are more user friendly than pc´s.
And the design is great.
The only problem I am having right now is that I have to use msn messenger 4.5 , which sucks....

Macs = great for video, audio, desktop publishing etc, word processing etc, limited software variety

PC = great for office, games, system administration etc,

^^that i know. i want to get a mac for mainly school/design work purpose, but currently i dont know if an ibook will do, splurge and get a 15" powerbook or even wait for the G5 laptop to come out. i heard the G5 will be almost identical to the G4 but with a better cooling system. hmmmm?
