Though it's unlikely, if the draft were to be activated in the war on terrorism, young men and women 18-25 could be forced to serve on the front lines. Are you willing to do that? :Kimmie:

there isn't going to be any draft in canada.
and if there was then I would either join the army and become a medic (that's the ONLY condition in which I would go to war) or I'd just refuse to go and get sent to jail for awhile or something.

if canada ever goes to war, then that means the US is gone and britain. if there is a draft, somehow my arm wont b of use or ill be sick or sumthin on draft day. so i can chill with all the sexy ladies left behind. yeah.

not under any circumstances. i would be a deserter, i suppose. not only do i not agree with war in general, but i have no regard for the rule of the nation state. so i wouldn't fight or die for it. -lauren

no. I would refuse to go to war, even as a medic. I would rather go to jail then to raise arms against another man. It's against my religion to physically harm a man unless it's self defense.
we could totally get into a conversation about how going to war is self defense but the actions of my country do not always represent me. I'd rather kill myself then kill another man. I think if I had to hurt someone, really badly... I'd freak out.

Yes, If I have to I would serve my country in a time of need cause I love my country and would do anything to protect it and my love ones inside it. I'd rather go down fighting, than just to wait and die (but all this is unlikely to happen cause of US watching over us) but I if my family wanted me to stay, I would stay instead

I would only go to war if Canada itself was being invaded by a foreign nation and there was a good chance our freedom would be lost. I would fight anyone for that. But as far as us going overseas goes, I wouldn't be involved.

^ ^ BWHA HA HA... anywho chances are their wouldn't be a draft, and I wouldn't fight in that war cause chances are it's just sacrafcing lives for forigen policy, or to get on bush's good side, cause after all, your either with him, or aginast him *shudder*
