Will you play techno at your wedding?
I was recently at a wedding where a swing band played followed by a DJ pumping out the best of the 80s. Asking the groom, 35, what the hell he was thinking, he told me that this was his generation's music. It had, according to him, a rightful place at his wedding.
Fair enough, but will I have DJs whipping out progressive at my wedding? What about lighting? Do I want my wedding reception to become a rave? OK, that's too far, but how would that go over? Techno is the music of my youth. That stands for something. I think there'll be decks there. *DJ Ponz has no plans to get married anytime soon* |

Considering my wedding is coming up I guess I should decide :)
I'm really not sure. I love a lot of music so the first part of the night will probably consist or 80's & 90's tunes I love along with oldies and various other genre's and songs. Then maybe later in the night some breaks, speed garage and a little deep house perhaps. I guess some techno can be thrown in there too just for the groom! I will most definately not have a line up of rave dj's at my wedding! |
