I just had a quiz. It was alright, this question was tricky:

To Descartes, it does not follow that it seems to me that i am in a lecture hall that i am in a lecture hall, but it does follow that i am in a lecture hall that it seems to be that I am in a lecture hall... true or false?

its like the brain in the vat scenario... how are we to know that we aren't braings in vats, experience the world through computer instruction.

As for the question, possibly true?

premise logically leads to the conclusion?

i dunno, im not a philosophy genius..

Yeah this was my reasoning pretty much. If it seems to be, you can't really conclude that you are in a lecture hall. At least Descartes wouldn't think so. If you've concluded, then you can think you are.

We'll see when I get my test back.
