"home by 12" has come to imply a huge party night with my best friend and i. we spontaneously decided to go out one school night, and were DEFINATELY going to be "home by 12"... get to the club, our friends greet us with "we're doing 151 shots! catch up!" i didn't get home til 4 pm the next day. oi.
