Skimboarding
Hey everyone, just thought I'd draw your attention to Skimboarding.ca, a new locally-run (but worldwide!) Skimboarding site that recently started up. It's not 100% finished right now, but everything should be up and running at 100%, including video clips, more photos, contests, event listings, giveaways and a bunch more within a week or two.
After all, it was so sunny out today, you could've almost gone to the beach... |

It's hard to miss Kayotics if you go to centennial beach every day...lots of people with kayotics boards, clothing etc. Funny that you remembered it. Horrible, or shag-a-delic? Hehehe...just kidding. |

right on! another skimboarder! i tried to make my own board 2 years ago and everything was going just peachy then i curved the nose the wrong f'n way so that was about 50 bucks down the drain. and i went all out on that board. 5/16 plywood, double capped with fiberglass and a wicked tribal style paintjob and my intials on it. was truely looking good then i noticed the nose was bent the wrong direction. i didn't care much about the money but the time i spent on it is gone=( tho i did enjoy the fiberglassing in the enclosed garage with all the fumes trapped in. i'll try to get some pictures of me this year skimmin. i bought a board last year 4 Skims boards are pretty good, nice weight and size for me. i'm with Ever666, i can not wait till summer comes back!!! BEACH! and the women:054:

well i live on Vancouver Island in Comox so the closest good beaches are the Airforce Beach and Goose Spit at low tide. i haven't been to Tofino yet cause i got it late last summer. i have a 4 Skims board, perfect size for me and is a nice green. There aren't many skimboards around me but i do see a few people down at the beach when i go.
