So cute.. but is it bad?
When my 2 year old nephew comes over, he plays with my teddy bear. I'm not sure if he thinks it's real, or if he's playing along, but sometimes, he'll "talk" to it, even put it to sleep at one time and tuck it in.
Cute.. but is it bad for his development? |

I think its totaly appropriate! Roll palying/imagination is deffinently a part of child developement. I actualy have to teach children with autism how to play and use their imagination as its a skill they dont develope well.
Highly incurage it! It's a way for a child to use their imagination, learn roll playing skills, and maybe help teach them how to be a good parent ;) Now maybe when they are 10-13 and still talking to it and making a stuff toy their best friend... then i would worry :P Last edited by Ree Fresh; Feb 14, 05 at 06:09 PM. |
