there is no real purpose behind saying "fuck". as an exclamation of extreme anger or whatnot, it's permissable (sometimes), but it shouldn't be as prominent in every day speech as it is. excessive swearing makes you sound uneducated.

I work in a call centre. If They hear you swear, you get fired.

I use "meef" on the line many times though. Work it in while spouting technical jargon, they usually don't think twice.

"Well, we're going to need to reregister the libraries here to make sure they didn't meef everything up there..."

Works wonders. Not a swear word, Wiktionary lists it as "slang"....

I like new languages. I speak many of them. My primary language I think is Eastvan English. Noted trademarks are use of the word "Meef" to represent something bad, "Timmeh!" in celebration of something good, and ending any word that ends in "y" with "eh" instead, particularily first names.

I don't think there has been a day where I didn't swear. I would just explode! like myra said. I swear under my breath so much. It's not that I mean to. It just slips out.

Haha I remember when I was young and when I swore I felt bad and slightly slapped my mouth.

Yeah I definitely don't do that now. There's just so many uses for all the different swear words!

If I'm consciously doing it though, I find I tend to use substitutions like biyatch instead of bitch, shiza (dunno the actual spelling) or shite instead of shit, fudge instead of fuck. Or I just make up a new word.
