With all of his interests, I'd say that a nice piece of art in a stylish frame is a good gift for anyone. Especially if it is his favorite artist or style of art. I got my brother a Warhol reproduction from the Art Gallery one year and it was only something like 70-90 dollars (on sale, I think reg it ran for 130) and now he's got a big marilyn for his living room and it's something he'll treasure fooor-ever (w/o a lot of cost to me! haha)
I know that fathers always really treasure their daughters and hold on to memories that they had of you when you were younger. I'd say along with something like a piece of art, why not try to find something, anything, no matter how small it is that would remind him of something that you guys did that was particularly memorable from the good old days? Even if it is small and stupid, it's bound to make any father's heart grow three sizes, they never ever forget how much fun they had with you when you were a little kid! :) |

------------------ Buy him lunch out with you(at his fave restaurant) and a day going to all your favourite places from when you were younger and you used to go together. Bring a camera and take pictures then make a collage of all the pictures and have it framed. |
