yea i debated long and hard between a 4gb and a shuffle but then i dont see the need to waste the extra money for a 4gb. And if anybody is ever planning to buy any apple products from a store i.e futureship or whereever just buy it from appl.ca cause u can a discount on every item plus free shipping.
an idea of how much u can save. 1gb ipod shufflke retails for 199.99. i got it for 178.99. apple minis run for 329.99 now and u can get it off the site for 299.99. and with free shipping too so its all good |

Hahaahah, i bought that fm transmitter thing too but returned it. don't u think the amount of static a little excessive? I am planning on getting the new Alpine or Eclipse car decks cause you can plug you ipod into the deck and control it through the decks controls, so you can leave your ipod in the glove box and not worry about leaving out in the open. |

Peoples with the iPods or other players with hard drive - would you go jogging or biking with one, are they sturdy enough or would it maybe wreck the HD from being bumped around? I think biking would be OK but jogging might be risky.
My friend is trying to decide if he should get a HD player or a flash-memory player. |

All Apple products, wait a generation. If the product is good, it'll last a second round.
Apple may on the most part make quality hardware products, but does anybody else remember the G4 cubes? I heard those things broke _real_ easy... I'm not bothering with any of this new Apple stuff until at least next year. |

diva - yea i took that into consideration many times. extra bill for 4 times the space but it came down to not needing that space so therefore not needing to spend an extra $100 for nothing. shuffle is pretty much just a flash drive mp3 player, i can load and unload at any time just by sticking it into the usb and wont take much time. but heck all the products are great |

wow i didn't realize so many ppl own an ipod! crazy. i was debating on a mini or shuffle, then realized i really dont d/l that much music nor listen to a lot of music on the go...except in the car or at school/doing hw. maybe in the future who knows. nothin wrong with a powerbook and the old discman.
for those who are lookin for a further discount on apple products, check out the prices from the ubc bookstore as they do give student discounts and i recently bought my laptop at london drugs and got a stupid deal on it. whenever the powerbook/ipod/shuffle/any gadget gets an upgrade their entire old stock goes on clearance for an amazing price. |

You can check the specs or order them from http://apple.ca or they will be in the stores very close to that price, the new models were announced a couple of days ago so maybe not available for a couple of weeks.

no warranty? I got extended warranty...so they have to replace it. Not just send it in for repairs. p.s. anybody go buy a mini from costco if you are going to buy a mini, if there are any problems with it...costco takes EVERYTHING back. |
