Field Hockey!

I'm joining a league soon, and I'm thinking it's goddamn perfect for a few reasons:

-Get fit
-Something to do, because 'drinking coffee' is really a pathetic excuse for a hobby
-vent agressions
-cute skirts and knee socks
-beating people with sticks

Oh wow, in my tired state I'm sure able to make myself sound intelligent.
Anyways, I was into this in highschool and now I'm back.

...is there anyone else out there who plays, has played, or is interested in it at all? heh.

i love field hockey!
i play in a women's recreation league every year
i love beating stupid girls in the shins and ankles...thats the best place to beat them...trust me

ohhh i love feild hockey so much fun (i'm kind of a jock ... i play way to many sports) ... but i have stories which are really gross ...
One of them is something that happened to my friend .... she was behide some player that was going to shoot ... and for some reason this chick decided to high stick and she wack my freind right in the throat and she got her voice box squshed ... and now she has a low voice but not super guyish low but still .... eh i guess it makes her sound tougher.

I love field hockey. But I don't play it anymore. What league are you joining?

...went to Nationals + Canada Games but after that I couldn't play anymore. I blew out my knee and never had it operated on, as it was right before those two events. So I kept playing on it, needless to say now I can't play very well. It's a great sport and it does keep you fit. One word of advice, buy a hand guard! What league are you playing in? Just curious! It's definately a good game to play when you are angry!

I went to Canada Games too...you didn't play on team bc did you? Cuz I would remember!!

i love fieldhockey sooooo much!
and the stick beatings make it that much better.
the only thing i dont like is playing in the blistering heat of summer.
but other than that, it rocks my world!

I didn't play for BC...played for Saskatchewan...though we played against you guys!
