Does anybody remember this novel from the days of childhood?

I have been trying SO hard to track it down, chapters always has it 'on order' and most smaller bookshops don't carry it either (eve kid's books in kits..)

A friend of mine was telling me that this was sadly out of print, is this true? They also added the only place they've been able to find it is at some used book store for 100 dollars. Yikes.

i remember that book :) we read it in grade six.. i heard they made a movie of it too, oh well im sure the movie is terrible they usually are

I read it in grade.3, maybe it was gr.6, anyway some time back in elementary school.

Go by your local elementary school at the end of the year, and see if they have any copies they're throwing out, and if they are, nab one. Or/ ordering on line always kicks ass.

I own that book.

A friend of my mom's (who is an elementary school teacher) offered me $100 for it, but I declined, since it is one of my all-time favorite books and it IS out of print now.

I actually just re-read it a month ago. As usual, it was wonderful.

I would suggest trying obscure second-hand book stores, and elementary schools. Those would, likely, be your best bet.

I did major room clean up a week or so ago and ran into my old copy. I used to love that book! In fact I think it is the book I used in elementary school and just forgot to return. Whoops...heheh

that book rocks the suburbs. I loved it when I was little... that's all I can remember about it.
