well it is a 12 month post degree program, so for me, its been nearly a 5 year process (cause i had to snag my B.A first, now i am months away from degree number 2)...however this last part is only a year long and the practical part of it is over (good bye kiddies i have been teaching!!) and back to SFU for the summer for some more theoretical mumbo jumbo

but i can start to apply now for teaching positions in districts and the like ...

it's extremly difficult to find a position in bc right now, especially in social studies, if you are willing to move out of the country for awhile britain is the place to go for teachers right now.
