I went to pugs on the beach last month, they had about 40 or so odd pugs there. I try to make a habit of going because it really takes another pug to bring out the pugginess of a pug :P When we were there last time, one of the bull dogs tried to hump Tofu :|
Tofu is pretty rowdy, sometimes he's a pussy that's because he's a big mama's boy. He'll go play with other dogs for a little bit and then look around and run back to me to check up. Gets jealous of other dogs if I pay attention to them :P Peachy's coloration is really interesting, and they both look to be a bit more stockier than other pugs. Most I see are tiny, which makes Tofu look like a beefcake :P |

In fact, it's true that I probably hold the strongest belief on here that a dog should be treated respectively. To me, I'm the lucky one to have such an awesome friend that depends on me not because she's incapable..but because she's stuck in a human friendly world.
I think I have a genuinely LOVely relationship with my baby* I've never given her a treat for doing a trick or degrading her to do those types of things as entertainment for myself. I've never fed her from my hand so that she isn't tormented when I have food, spending all her time wondering IF I'm going to give her some. She just relaxes and chills out while we eat, because, also, I feed her before I eat evrytime* This baby of mine even lets me brush her teeth and just lays there...she's my dopest friend...I wish I knew how to post pics:) Seriously...she thinks she's a person..Bwahahah* She even bosses me around sometimes and she gets a grumpy look on her face...SO cute:P |

The fact that you don't walk your dog until after noon...isn't admirable* Maybe it's not the most obvious form of neglect...but to me, because I constantly try to better myself, I know that at one time I thought that was ok until I saw and felt the difference my waking up half an hour earlier made..I'm not perfect..but at least I knew when I wasn't being the best parent, and I changed that*

I don't think you constantly try and better yourself, I just think you constantly think you are better than everyone else.
I think it's great the relationship you and you dog have... but I can see you are too thick skulled to understand the points that the rest of us are trying to make here. Sarcasm also seems to be above your head. Again I will repeat - what works for you and your dog, may not work for everyone. Not every dog is the same, not every person is the same. |

they are smart creatures aren't they? HOW SMART ARE THEY? i see horses outsmart their owners so often, it always makes me laugh. my one horse would fake fear of some unknown object if it meant he would get out of work. i once proved this while i was teaching a lesson to my friend who was on him. he spent 30 minutes flat refusing to pass some utility trailers that were parked on the property next to my outdoor arena. finally i got on him, and infront of a doubtful audience, i rode him past it without even trying. he litteraly DID NOT FLINCH. funny how when your animals have respect for you and know that you are smarter than them they listen. and stop dicking around and playing games. Crazy Pete (the horse that outsmarted my friend) knew i was on to his game and knew that i would NOT tolerate it. so he didn't even bother trying with me because he knew his life would be so much easier for it. so yeah, animals are smart. smarter than you think lou belle. |

Okay let's try this again: Read what I wrote carefully, "Someone always takes my dog for his morning pee when I leave for school and I take him when I come home. If I am sleeping in, someone will always take him out. I have school/work, sometimes we sleep in together because we rock out late at night being nocturnal like that. But we work that lifestyle together and as far as I and anyone else can see, he is still the one of the happiest dogs in the world. I don't need to brag about all the things I do for my baby to prove to myself about how good of a parent I am. It's great that you care about your dog, so do a lot of people - get over yourself.
Dog's don't ask much out of us, just companionship, love, and affection. |
