Why would it matter if you do or do not accept the drink? I accepted a free drink at the restaurant that im working at right now during my interview.....been workin there for 6 months almost now.....

i really, really doubt it's a "test", but i have three friends who have been managers at various starbucks so i'll find out. a bunch of my other friends have worked there, and i'd wager most of them would have accepted a free drink. it's just a nice thing to do. at my restaurant we offer the interviewees a drink and it doesn't affect anything if they accept or not.

i've been offered things like that during interviews as well (not at starbucks, heh), and i always decline. i'm there for an interview, not to have a cup of coffee. i'm sure it really doesn't make a difference either way, though.

I'm not sure, but I don't think it matters. I do know that when you start working there, you're supposed to try out all the drinks and know them. That's what they did to my friend. I know this guy who worked there that could tell what kind of drink you have by smelling it :o
