Who Wants a Full Time Job!!!!!!!
Speaking on behalf of my employer, Lilly Electric,
We are looking for 10-20 apprentices for full time work...No experience is nescessary and you could be starting as soon as next week, or when ever you call.. Lilly Electric has been around since 1973 with over 40 employees, the company has recently taken on new jobs which require more people to get them done on time... If you are interested in becoming an electrical apprentice feel free to call us up for a job... I doubt there will be an interview either.. as i got my job over the phone. Upon employment with our company you will be registered for school at BCIT for electrical training... At first you will pay for the school out of your own pocket but with a passing grade you will be re-embursed for you expenses.. Please call at 604-536-3464 and ask for the owner (Jerry Broten). Or if you have any furthar questions about what our company does and where you might be working PM me and i can fill you in on the details... If anyone has previous electrical experience there is a very good chance you will be hired... Getting into a trade is one of the best things to do right now... By the time you recieve your electrical ticket the constuction for the olympics will be in full swing and there will be tonnes of work to go around.. Im not 100% sure on wages so i will leave that up to you to find out when you call.. As for me im getting paid $18/hr and have been with the company for just over a year... Call between 8am and 4pm monday to friday thanks |

you go to school 4 times... each time is 10 weeks long and costs about 1000 bucks plus 200 for books.. Lilly electric will re-emburse your tuition fees... after the first 3 months of work you will be a first year apprentice.. then you will be given a start date for school... after each completed level you will be booked for the next one... i was able to do 2nd and 3rd levels back to back... spots open up and you can get in sooner... but overall it takes on average 3 1/2 to 4 years... somtimes you canget it done quicker.. |

Sounds great, I am a Granite Installer for about 4 years now and I want to try something new. This job sounds really appealing, trades are in high demand now, sounds like it could become a good career, I'm defenitly interested.

oh sheit!, this is exactly what I'm looking for!
I've determined I want to become an electrical apprentice, just needed to find the job.. Already have done all the reading on the BCIT course. I'm ready to start.... well almost... heh I've been tackling misc. home electrical, wiring upgrades and installs with my dad for the last 6-8 years, so I've already got most of the basics down.. Chewy, So, Upon being hired, I would work for 3 months, then start my first year of school at BCIT? What does the next 4 months look like in terms of hiring? I may not be quite ready to start yet. Anything going to be available in the future? |
