Nice, smooth open highways with no cops around.
I dock at Nanaimo and am heading to Duncan to see an old friend. I never knew how great the roads were in Victoria!
The highway is super smooth and taking the Audi down it was like a dream! I just wish I had all 4 slicks, instead of just 3 and an all season, on the road to really see what I could have done. :( I'm thinking of coming back one summer day and just letting the engine rev up and see what my new ride can do. Any other drivers out there want to come? |

Yeah that is a good trip to do, did it on a long weekend once and never got over 110km/h though with all the traffic. The Hope - Princeton Highway is a really good drive too with some good swimming, cliff diving right off the road to cool off during the summer.

man, there's always bitchin' little pieces of roads hidden around BC
My personal fav is where I grew up, as you drive up the hill to Ryder Lake, I've neard heading up to columbia valley is nearly as entertaining. Fast S-curves and hair pins, it's awesomly challenging, plus, all cars can corner resonably, not all cars can haul ass on the highway :D |

Because honestly, Vic roads are NOTHING like the island highway. Fuck, there's some spots that seriously violate laws of Euclidean space. |
