creative nomad jukebox nx! got it for 300 including shipping, still in perfect condition, greatly reduced price. no problems with it at all, i've had it for a few months now to.
i would say there's nothing wrong with going refurb, as long as you find out everything about the condition the product is in, before you purchase it! |

usually reputable retailers (ie fs) would offer some kind of standard one for a short period of time, then after that expires you've got a manufacturer's warranty that covers after that period. the only pain with that is to get something fixed/replaced you have to send it to them directly which can take up lots of time.

refurbed electronics are fine. just make sure of a few things
a) no severe extrenal damage b) has manuals (if you're into that sorta thing) c) has all required cables/plugs etc d) check for batteries nothing sucks worse then finding out it needs a proprietary battery and its not there |
