Handwriting
My regular printing has gone from chicken scratch, to unlegible crap. The other day at work, i tried handwriting (just for the shit of it) and it's like i'm clinically retarded or something! I just CAN'T handwrite anymore! I use a keyboard every day, and my crappy printing general does the job.
Have you guys flexed your cursive writing recently? Do you suck now also?? give it a shot. grab a pen and write out 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.' and report back. |

i've never been able to handwrite well
although lately i've been practicing so i've improved from like grade 1 level to grade 2 i write all the time. pages and pages.. but it seems my printing only gets messier and messier every time i write i don't get it it's so embarrassing when other people in my class have to read my work, or when i hand my work in.. i look at everyone elses writing and i feel like a tard.. |

Since college and trying to be more profesional at work my writting and spelling has imporved greatly since high school.
At work I take notes for students so my printing has to be extra legible. Occasionaly ill hand write, but it takes a little more time/effort if I want it to be as neat. And then theres the ever so common style of half hand writing half printing :P |

my printing is legible, but messy. my writing? i haven't written in years, it prolly sucks, unless i sit there and take my slow ass time like in grade 1 :P
is writting becoming the way of the do-do? has technology removed our need for written communication? i know of several instances where computers have replaced writing because of ppls chicken scratch, and its happening more and more. pretty soon kids will be learning to type instead of learning to write. |

i think my handwriting is alright.... it can get pretty messy after a couple of pages though when my palms get all sweaty and tired
when i went back to school after taking a year off i had trouble with missing out words cuz i was rushing to get shit down while the profs were going on and on. it took me a while to get back into writing a lil more smoothly at a quick pace |

Since we started learning handwriting in grade 4 or whatever, the teachers always said 'You have to learn this perfectly, next year you won't be able to hand in things unless it's done in handwriting'. They said that every year til about grade 9, then all of a sudden everything had to be typed.
Apart from in-class essays, I havent handed in anything to a prof in my own writing. It's all typed and printed. Why have neat writing when a machine can do it better and faster than you ever could? PS - That's also my attitude towards sex 8) |

Try growing up left handed! My teacher told me in the first grade that I would never have nice writing or printing because I just couldn't hold a pen the way they wanted me to, WELL I SHOWED THEM. Ps- nice writing is a good skill to keep all your life imo. |

i type as much as i can cause it's so much quicker, so when you make a mistake it's so much easier/quicker to fix cause i make ALOT of mistakes. i print. i've totally forgotten how to handwrite, tho you have to agree with me some peoples handwritting looks like a baby trying to colour inside the lines. Signatures piss me off cause i can never read them ..... scribble, scribble, scribble, line, dot, dot, finishing with an areobatic maneuver of the hand.
