when i die, i'll be lucky to have enough left of me to fill a box. I wanna go out in a big explosion of some sort, like a motorcycle accident with a logging truck into a gas tanker. something that will go boom and hopefully send me into orbit. screw the $10,000, i'll get there myself!

Cremated. My family is really into boating and their yacht club had this "club" sort of thing where they all go out on a big boat and spread the deceased's ashes over the water, kindof like a funeral on the water. I'm pretty sure thats how it'll happen for me. I'd want to donate my organs to be transplanted though.

Cremated.
(And, they _don't_ crush you before! Generally, the family are given the remains of the ground up femurs of the deceased, after crematation. That's all. You didn't _really_ think a whole body would fit in that li'l ol' urn, didja?) If I have any snow-buddies left, I'd like to be scattered @ the top of Horstman t-bar, and our favourite Rasta Safety Meeting location on Blackcomb. And, since I've been through this already, people, I can't stress enough how important it is that EVERYONE should have a will. You really don't have to pay for a lawyer. What you need to do is clearly and succinctly state what you want done with your estate (money and belongings) and body. Date it and sign it in front of _two_, unrelated witnesses. It saves SO much headache for your survivors dealing with your affairs. Out of respect for _them_, you should make things as clear-cut as possible. Frosty (lookin' forward!) |
