all that fiberglass and cost?
why make it look like a f50?
Why not make it utterly and totally unique?
Why not spend a couple bucks and get a fledgling designer to sketch something custom?
I mean, I get the recognizability of having a Ferrari, but it's fake...
if it was totally custom, up close - it'd be totally custom, it'd still garner respect
Chances are it'd be lighter and faster than an actual NSX with proper use of fiberglass

*shrugs*
I understand why people make kit cars like that, I'd just never do it, there's so much more potential if that kinda cash is being spent

They hardly break down and can take a shit kickin. With this body kit that this guy decided to put on to convert it into a ferrari he has then screwed up absolutely everything. Change the whole aero dynamics of the car so now you got to change the suspension and possibly even gear ratio's. In any event this car must vibrate like crazy at high speeds so whats even the point of a ferrari body kit?

EXACTLY.. rrrrrrg

i bet they ruined everything that was once beautiful about the NSX !

true 'nuff
althought the F50 (which that's suppose to be emulating) is a serious piece of automobile.

Having said that a Koenigsegg is cheaper, and faster.

You can kill the nsx and as long as you keep up the regular maintenance, it'll last forever.

Ahhhhhhh
If you have the money to buy a ferrari, you must have it for all the other expenses ( 8000 bucks for removing the motor ), and for gas and stuff.
Of course it is not an everyday use car, but if you have one, you dont use it once a month, except you collect those cars. I know people who own 6 ferraris and drive around in a F40 or 360 modena, depending on their mood.
You can't say you prefer an nsx over a ferrari, because of the maintenance costs.... You say you'd get an nsx first ?? If you had the money for a ferrari, I don't think you 'd be thinking the same way.

There's a guy here that owns a 360 Modena Spider and he drives it all the time. He also owns a real nice 2003 Model Plane so I don't really think that the Maintenance isn't much of an issue to him.
