Fido SIM card
I have a question for people who have had their fido cell phone stolen, or have lost their fido cell phone.
I had mine stolen at Johan Gielen 2 weeks ago, I bought a brand new Sony Ericsson cell phone which is unlocked, but I was wondering how much Fido is going to charge me for a new SIM card, and to get my new cell activated. Keep in mind, my account right now is suspended, and I didnt buy my new cell from a provider or fido. I cant see them charging me like $30 to re-activate my old account, but I can see them charging me for a new SIM.

they charge you 30 for the sim card, then they kill your old chip so no one can use it no matter what and trasnfer everything to your new sim.
I went through that... I thought I lost my phone.. suspended my account.. then found a friend found my phone... could activate my old chip, so had to buy a new on. tho I had bought a new phone and everything and had everything transferred to it. just re turned the phone.. bought a new chip.. twas simple and only cost me 30 I believe.

^ you mean the sim card and not the phone?
well, it goes a little something less this.. i have a crappy phone, that i drop a lot. when i drop it, everything shatters and falls to pieces. a few weeks ago i was rather drunk, in a bar, and dropped my phone, grabbed the battery and stuck it back in... but was unable in my inebriated state to notice the sim card was missing. it was one of my finer moments.

yeah got a new SIM card and un-suspended my account was $25 and tax..
