From what I've heard, the scene around the kootenays area is thriving in it's own little way.
Lots of hippies, lots of drugs, lots of free outdoor spaces, and lots of boredom can do a lot for a a rave. Fortunately, the kootenays and the like, have much of this. Up north, Prince George also has a small little scene too. But, considering that Scotty Oh is a god up there, I doubt that it's quite impressive. Although, I would like to check a party in PG out just in case what I've heard has been wrong. As for people on this board, it's still fairly localized. When LoungeX gets back up again (www.loungex.com) you'll most likely find more people from the interior, as it draws people from a wider area. But, of course, the best place to look for information about your local scene is, of course, at your friendly local record shop. If for some reason Kelowna doesn't have any of those, then try Nelson. Actually, just go to Nelson anyways. And bring everyone in Vancouver some weed. :) ][nkster |
