Whos impatient?
The one thing that pisses me off the most is people who are late or who call you and saw ill be ready in 20 mins and an hour later they are ready.
Tell me your going to be an hour and dont waste my time, damn im impatient. Does this piss anyone else off or is it just me? |

No its just all my friends, if they say meet me here at 7 its more like 830, its a joke, they are all like this, pisses me off. I'll call them up and be like so you coming, and they're like yah we just stopped to eat we will be there soon, and another 40 minutes goes by.

I had a bud who did that, consistently. It's sort of a passive-aggressive thang: wait for MEEEE!!!!
I gave up on him. He's on my shit-list, right now. I'll give anyone one half hour of leeway for snaggles and shit, but, I really won't wait for anybody; you know where I'm going and what I'm doing, so, I'll just see you there. Frosty (I'm doing "this" and you can come, too) |

your definatly not alone on this, i'm very patient but i do not like to waste time. had a friend say he'll be here in 10 mins, waited about an hour then left with another friend. his excuse: "i forgot". if i tell someone i'll be there at 3, i'll be there when i say and if i'm not i have a good reason why and ....... APOLOGIZE.
i don't like wasting time cause it's something that will never stop and you will eventually, run out of it. |

You are not alone..
I have found myself bitching about that exact thing lately. My best friend is EXACTLY like that..it drives me up the wall:Serotonin. Does it take that much effort to give yourself an extra half an hour to do what you need to do before you meet up with somebody if you know your going to be late?! And even if you tell them that you are mad about it they don't really seem to mind...its just like meh I'll try better next time. I think that just brings it to a whole new level for disrespect and rudeness. People come and go and your not going to be friends with many people forever so its not so bad, but it doesnt say much for their character at all. Being late for lunch is one thing..being late for the most important interview of your life is another right?!

I find it's become more and more OK to be late, to not call, to break plans, etc.
I find it really disrepectful to be left hanging, so I always try to keep plans, and call if I'm going to be late. I have a curse of being 15min late for get-togethers. I don't mean to be, but usually I just can't seem to get ready fast enough, or end up making 3+ trips back up the stairs and having to unlock my room to retrieve something I forgot in my rush. But atleast I get ahold of the person I'm meeting to let them know! |
