Hair extensions in summer?
So Im thinking about getting hair extensions in the next month or two, but I'm wondering if this is a bad idea with summer practically here?
I wouldn't be getting them braided, it would be just to make my hair fuller (it's already pretty thick) and longer. Right now my hair is just past my shoulders but I'm kinda of getting impatient growing it out (I'd like my hair to be mid-chest length I guess...). I have med-thick wavy/curly hair that I usually straighten. Am I just asking for more work? Is this gonna be really hot/annoying in the summer heat? Are the a pain if I hafta go swimming, and do the look like $#@% if they're wet/not styled? |

i donno about you but i always cut my hair when summer starts - ive always been a swimmer so the less hair the better. this year im waiting a little bit longer so i can donate it to locks of love.
my summer hairstyle usually only consists of messy buns thrown up in seconds..... but thats me. |

i already know it will be hot. i just dont want it to get too hot to handle...aka too much hair on your neck while your sweating in the sun.
But they didn't ivent hair ties for no reason. my salon does them if you are interested in getting it done in van. (you know how to reach me) good luck hottie! ps: i love your hair length now too, it really brings out your gorgeous eyes and overal i think it is very sutiing. Although i am a big fan of changing it up. spice up your life. (haha) |

Robin - Yes, see this is what I'm thinking... Summer is hot, hot, hot! *still thinking*
Lori - I'm all about it! Bwahahahah! J'nette - BPWFF I usually drop top dollar on my hair, so to get extensions I wouldn't mind shelling it out, if it's gonna look fab. We'll see. I'll shop around. Tara - Thanks girlie, yeah I will be in touch with you about it... Ima do my research before settling. I'm thinking a change would be fun. I wanna try long locks. Kim - Right on. OK thanks for the info! Not to sound naive, but, gun..? Please explain. |

Well if you get it done in a salon, I suggest you pick up the hair yourself, so they dont over charge you.. so all your paying for is labour. :) Also, if you go and get the hair yourself..... you have a wider selection and can be certain of getting the colors YOU want :D |
