ladies with nose piercings
alright so i just want to ask before i jump to silly conclusions..
got a little white bump directly beside the stud, is this a keloid? if so, is it really neccessary to return to the piercer? or is it an infection, if so will treating it as i have been (epson salt and polysporn) more frequently (ive been doing it about twice a week as the piercing no longer hurt and it had been about 6 weeks) cure it? i realize this is not something that will go away in days or even weeks, and its not really bothering me too much\isnt obsurdly visable, i was just wondering if anyone knew of anything better to apply to maybe speed the healing process or even if this has happened to anyone else. there is slight soreness now if i wiggle the tip of my nose with my fingers, but nothing that i notice otherwise. no redness, and no swollen\puffiness on the exterior (other then the white lump) |

^ might have to.
went in to see my piercer today, but it was his only day off... so im goin back tomorow to ask him what the best solution is. the tattoo guy said tea tree oil, but then he said not to trust his answer cause he really didnt know and was just guessing. |

went to the piercer today... he said what it was was a mineral build up just under the skin - basically a deep down zit caused by over cleaning. (go fucking figure) anyways, he popped it, which hurt and bled and still is bleeding more then the piercing, but there is no residing pain - even the pain i had before is gone.
he said to stop epson salt and even polysporn for now, just have lots of hot\warm water rinses. and i have to wait another 3 weeks beofre i can change my freakin stud. i love the one i have now cause its little and red, but i want a flat stud, mines a little rounded. nev - contact solution may have helped since im assuming what it does for your contacts is remove things like minerals and small little bits of crud off the contacts - would probably do the same for skin. as for me, im gonna rinse it a little after it scabs up, clean up the surrounding area a bit, and give it a good rinse tomorow. ill put some polysporn on it maybe in a few days like he said, but maybe not. all depends. but at least it will be gone now. |
