we called em wolf spiders, they are ugly suckers!
they almost always travel in pairs, so its mate probably isnt too far behind (back in the pipe, deep in the wall or YOUR SHEETS!! (check twice) also I have read the aaverage human eats 8 spiders in his/her life time while sleeping. so much for a midnight snack, personally I know much nicer things to eat bedside. |

those fucking things haunt me. they'rea ll over our basement which is also our tv room and my bedroom is also there as well. i cant sit with my feet on the ground anymore cause i just cant imagine having them on my feet. whenever i get home late and pop on the lights i can count on one scurying away under cover.
i kill them as soon as i see them. usually from above - ill stand on the couch and drop big books on them, or ill wake up my cat or dog to go and chase them. i fucking hate them. |

Why does everyone have such a hate-on for spiders? Why kill them for no reason? Take em outside, or let em walk off or some such shit. They do serve some purpose on this planet, and unless your stupidly allergic to them, most of the ones here in BC can't hurt you...
Some people hate dogs... but most of you would be up in arms screaming if someone killed one, just because they hate them... how are spiders really any different? |

I've been bitten by spiders, a couple of times. Both times, I never saw it.
A couple of years ago, shooting out on spoooky Imperial Way (at the edge of Endowment Lands), I thought I got a 'skitter bite on my hand. Within 2 hours, my entire hand (sans doigts) was swollen. It settled down after a couple of days. Another time, I think I walked through a web on my balcony, because I felt something, but though nothing of it. Where was I stung? Bloody typical: Right between the eye, just above the eyebrows. I had a lumpy bindy for a whole stinkin' week!!! I've never loaded an image on here, before, but this happened in Prince George in '02. Frosty (No yelling if this buggers up!) |
