Russian Lake Disappears Overnight!

http://www.cbc.ca/storyview/MSN/worl...ke_050520.html

Lake vanishes overnight in Russia

MOSCOW - Villagers in central Russia are mystified by the sudden disappearance, overnight, of the town's lake.

Russia's NTV channel showed a muddy basin where the lake once was, in the village of Bolotnikovo, 250 kilometres east of Moscow. The name of the village translates roughly as "boggy."

Local officials say the lake was probably sucked into an underground cave system.

NTV interviewed local fishermen who had gone to the lake early Friday morning only to discover that something had "pulled the plug" on the lake.

"I looked and there was no water. I thought: 'Oh my God, what's going on?'" said one of the fishermen on TV.

Emergency crew were called out to search the lake bed to see if anyone had been sucked under. Lakeside trees appeared to have been dragged down with the water.

Safety officials say it's still dangerous to be on the lake bed.

Local official Dmitry Klyuev said several houses had been swallowed up under similar circumstances 70 years ago.

I bet the property value of the surrounding houses went down quite a bit too. Wake up and youre no longer lakeside, youre next to a hole with a bunch of dead fish and mud. I hope they all had paranormal insurance.

you are all sheep. it's clearly a part of the nwo and george bush's water manipulation machine conspiracy version 2.7 subsection (a) of plan 442

they need the water because the msg makes them thirsty. but they have a pill to fight the harmful effects of the msg.

hmm.. Bolotnikovo is actually a last name.. why would they translate it to "boggy"?
weird...

anyway.. we had a summer house in village in the ukraine, (actually my granma still has it) and there is a big lake.. next to this lake there is another small lake just for fish, the two lakes are divided by a bridge... it wasnt "very small" but smaller... fishermen would somehow have a way to pump out the water from the smaller lake into a bigger lake and collect all the fish... i remmeber when i was about 10 they would always give out free fish to kids...

for some reason ( not 100% sure) but to me it seems something similar happened in this story.. in russia people would do such thing, to make money.. things that happen there, are unbelievable!

but you never know...

If the lake is of any reasonable size, you would need a device on the magnitude of Dr. Evil's to do that overnight - so this most likely wasn't done by humans... I'm thinking Superman the Movie where he freezes the entire lake and then dumps it on a fire - that's probably what happened.
