SuDoku
SuDoku is a type of number puzzle imported from Japan and popularised recently in the UK by The Times newspaper. The rules are very simple, each segment, each row and each column must contain only 1 copy of the numbers 1 to 9. The puzzle starts with some clues already filled in and your task is to fill in the remaining squares.
Its pretty hard. There is a special introduction to this in this weekends Vancouver Sun. Give it a try. " Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9. " |

This one wasn't very difficult at all. I worked through it systematically and didn't get
stuck once; the fifth column is obvious, so start there. I hope they get a lot harder... 4 2 1 9 6 7 8 5 3 6 7 5 3 1 8 4 9 2 3 8 9 2 4 5 6 1 7 1 9 8 7 3 4 5 2 6 7 4 2 8 5 6 1 3 9 5 6 3 1 2 9 7 4 8 2 1 6 5 7 3 9 8 4 8 3 7 4 9 1 2 6 5 9 5 4 6 8 2 3 7 1 |
