ipods are rad, i have a second generation one that i dont use anymore it's just laying around and then i have the new 20g one that i adore. yeaa it's a tad big, and the back scratches easily if you toss it around without it's case, but..no other mp3 can hold that many songs, and look as stylish. mini's are nice too...but im not too hot about the colors they make them in..i think they should be more neon toned, not..all faded looking. even the ipod shuffles aren't that bad...really "i" anything is good..

Hnn... For the amount of an iPod, I'd rather use that money to get 25 new CDs instead of a device that just stores music I already have. Okay, the portability is fine but, seriously, how often do you ever listen to music for longer than an hour or two during a single session when you're on the go? Discmans are fine for me (and they sound better, too).
I know. I'm in the minority on this one. Ah, well... |

I do it. I have an Alpine head unit with the Alpine KCA-420i
http://www.shopping.com/xGS-kca_420i It allows me to control the ipod with my head unit. I can go through all my play lists and all the information is displayed on the screen. It actually feeds the sound through the deck as well so you don't lose any sound quality like you do on the FM transmitters. Its brilliant. Quote:
